Advisory council
Holland International School has an Advisory Council (AR), whose objective is to facilitate open communication between parents, staff, the board of governors and the management of Holland International School. The Advisory Council has representatives from both parents (3) and staff (2) of Holland International School.
The AR has a chair, vice chair and a secretary, who are chosen by the members of the council. It meets at least once every two months and may make recommendations, either on its own initiative or at the request of Holland International School’s board or management board. The AR gives advice on matters such as educational planning, job vacancies and recruitment, planning annual holidays and events, homework policy, school equipment and furnishing, bus transport and safety in and around the school.
The AR depends upon parents and staff for input. If you have any questions, comments, suggestions or wishes, it will be only too pleased to hear from you! Queries and comments will always be dealt with confidentially. You can contact the AR at: adviesraad@hollandinternationalschool.sg. The Advisory Council regularly reports on its activities and latest developments via the Social Schools app.
